Spear phishing

Spear Phishing is a lot like Phishing but in this case, scammers use a personalized email to fish for personal information.

Similar to other kinds of phishing, this email will often feature the logo and name of a trusted company. It might even look like it's from a contact, such as an acquaintance or a co-worker.

It's also written with a sense or urgency, enticing the recipient to click on the hyperlink that will take them to a fake but legitimate-looking website. The site might even ask for the person to enter their personal information.

91% of cyberattacks are the result of information obtained from spear phishing.
